Crazy Week with 2Twenty

For 2Twenty, it’s going to be a crazy week. Today (Wednesday) JV 220 is having a party for the incoming 6th graders that came from Crosstown to JV. On the other hand, SH 220 is having their tailgating party tonight at Allison Park Church. Thursday is the start of the Summit. For those going tommorow, their will be a pool party so make sure to bring a swimsuit. Make sure to meet either the Gym (AKA Crosstown) or in the Prayer Chapel once you get there. Then Friday is JVs Tailgating party at APC. NOW…..

Last Week at 2Twenty

So last Sunday was our first Sunday (6-10-2008) in the prayer chapel at 11am at APC. Cullen showd something on his blog that I would like to show.

New Middle School Service

From now through the middle of August, we’re experimenting with a new time for our 2Twenty middle school services.  During the summer months we’re holding services for 6th – 8th graders at 11am on Sundays in the prayer chapel at APC.  Today was our very first one.  We had around 50 – 60 people in attendance and everyone had a great time.  The prayer chapel was transformed into a cafe, game room, snack bar and service area all in one!  

Some of the elements to the service included: worship, a competition, videos, a skit, a challenging message from Pastor Gregg, plus food and fun.   It was great to see the students pursuing God!  We’ll have our next service this coming Sunday at 11am.  If you missed today, make sure you come next week!

BACK TO MY BLOG:

This was the day the incoming 6th Graders joined us. Those kids came Crosstown lead by Pastor Joe. Every one had a blast.

This Week at 2Twenty

         Don’t Forget, this Wednesday that we are meeting at APC for a special service with SH 220. Johannes Amrizter is coming to speak to the teens of Allison Park Church again. Unfortunatly, there’s no $10,000 give away. But here’s the MCM ministry school promo that we saw last time Johannes was here.

And also don’t forget that JV 220 is now on Sundays in the Prayer Chapel during the 11am service.

Schools Out!

That’s right. School is out for SASD and SAMS. So have a great summer Shaler!
